Large Clear Quartz Point Coloring Page
About This Coloring Page
Six faceted planes converge at the crystal's pointed tip, each face defined by straight edges that create sharp angles where surfaces meet in this detailed coloring design. The base formation consists of smaller fragmented rocks clustered together, their rough, uneven surfaces providing textural contrast to the smooth crystal faces above. Natural striations run vertically along some of the crystal's faces, following the growth direction from base to point. The crystal's flat planes need careful gradient work to show dimensional depth-try lighter tones near the edges and darker values toward the center of each face. Those vertical striations benefit from fine pencil strokes in slightly different shades to suggest natural formation patterns. The rocky base takes earthier browns and grays, while the crystal itself might use cool blues, purples, or even pale yellows to capture that translucent mineral quality.
