Clear Crystal Formation Coloring Page
About This Coloring Page
Elongated hexagonal prisms rise from a shared base, each terminating in a sharp multi-faced point rendered with distinct angular planes on this coloring sheet. Diagonal lines running along each crystal shaft indicate the natural faceting of quartz, while smaller crystal formations cluster at the bottom to ground the overall arrangement. Each crystal face is a clearly bounded geometric section, ranging from narrow triangular tips to wide trapezoidal mid-sections. The flat facets on each crystal shaft are exactly the kind of sections where graduated shading from pale lavender to deep violet, or from ice blue to clear white, shows the most contrast. Leaving the very center of certain faces almost uncolored while darkening the edges with a gray or cool purple mimics the way light passes through actual quartz in this printable design. The smaller base crystals benefit from slightly darker tones to push them visually behind the taller foreground formations.
